GSB conduct company audits under the Corporations Act and the following is a guide as to the audits we undertake:
Large Reporting Entities. A company will be a large reporting entity if it passes two of three tests under the Corporations Act. It will be required to lodge with ASIC, audited financial statements.
Other Entities. Other reasons for requiring an audit may be because of foreign ownership, lender requirements or a decision by the shareholders.
Registered Organisations. GSB can undertake audits under Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009.
Companies Limited by Guarantee. Depending on the level of reporting an assurance review or an audit may be required.
